Furnished apartments in Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT)
JLT gets overlooked by people fixated on the Marina, which sits just across Sheikh Zayed Road. That's their loss. Around eighty towers stand in clusters around man-made lakes, and for a similar apartment you'll usually pay less here than on the other side of the road.
It's also a working district. The DMCC free zone is based here, so many residents work in the district itself. If your employer or client is in DMCC, this is the obvious place to look first.

Life around the lakes
The towers stand in clusters around the lakes, and the lake walks have cafés and restaurants at the foot of the towers. A coffee or a meal out is rarely a trip.
If eating out often matters to you, ask us about towers close to the lake walks. You can step out for dinner without planning it. Many of the buildings come with their own pools, gyms, saunas and children's play areas, so weekends don't have to involve going anywhere at all.
Moving in and out of JLT
Two Red Line Metro stations serve the district, which matters more than it sounds. If you're here for a project and don't want to run a car, you can manage. Some of our buildings sit close to a station.
The Marina is directly across Sheikh Zayed Road. How convenient that feels depends on which cluster you're in, so tell us where you'll be heading most days and we'll point you to the right side of the district.
Studio or something bigger?
Our mix here is mostly studios, spread across several towers, with the occasional larger two- or three-bedroom apartment. The studios work well if you're here alone on a contract, or for two people happy with close quarters. They're compact and easy to live in, and if you'll be working in DMCC, ask us which ones keep your daily walk or Metro ride shortest.
Families and people sharing should ask about the larger homes. They come up less often, so give us notice. Ask about the view and the building's facilities as well. Somewhere inside the building where the kids can swim or burn off energy makes a few months away from home far easier for everyone.
Where JLT falls short
Parking is the familiar complaint. Some buildings include an allocated space, but don't take it for granted: if you'll have a car, ask about parking before anything else.
Some towers are older, so if the age of the building matters to you, ask before you settle on one. If you want everything new and polished, you may be happier paying more elsewhere. And if you want sand underfoot rather than a lake view, JLT isn't a beach district. Choose it for value, the Metro and short commutes.
Questions people ask
Will the apartment come with a parking space?
It depends on the building. Allocated parking is listed for some of the buildings we use, but confirm it for the specific apartment and tell us early if you'll have a car. Parking is one of JLT's known trade-offs, so it's worth settling before you choose.
Is JLT practical without a car?
It can be. Two Red Line Metro stations serve the district, and everyday food and shopping sit at the base of the towers. If you also work in DMCC, you may barely need transport at all.
Are the buildings old?
Some are, some aren't. Older buildings are part of the trade-off for JLT's better value. Ask us about the specific building and we'll give you a straight answer.
Does it work for children?
It can. Somewhere for kids to play is common in the towers we use, and a few add a separate children's pool. The lake walks give you somewhere to go outside the building. For a family, ask about our larger apartments rather than trying to fit into a studio.
