Furnished apartments on Palm Jumeirah for weeks or months
Our Palm Jumeirah apartments sit in two places on the trunk of the island, and they suit different people. The Palm Tower stands in the middle of the trunk with Nakheel Mall at its feet. The Shoreline Apartments, also called Al Nabat, run along the trunk and come with their own beach access for residents.
So the first question isn't really 'the Palm or not'. It's whether you'd rather live in a tower with a mall at its base or in a building whose residents have their own beach access. Tell us which matters more and we'll steer you.

A normal week on the trunk
Life in The Palm Tower is vertical and convenient. With Nakheel Mall at the base, it's the first place we'd check for everyday errands before looking further afield. Near the top of the tower is The View at The Palm, the observation deck, which is where your visitors will want to go on their first weekend.
Shoreline works differently. The draw is the residents' beach, which turns an ordinary evening into a swim. If you're here for months rather than days, that routine is the thing people end up valuing most.
Moving on and off the island
The Palm Monorail runs along the trunk, and it's handy for short hops along the island itself. Be realistic, though. Most people still get around by car or taxi, and we'd suggest planning on doing the same.
The weak point is the roads. Getting on and off the island builds up at peak times, so if your office hours are fixed, plan around the rush or expect to sit in it. Consultants who keep flexible hours tend to mind this far less than people with a nine o'clock start.
Studio or one-bedroom?
What we have here is mostly studios and one-bedrooms, and the list changes week to week. A studio suits one person, or a couple who are out most of the day, especially if the mall downstairs covers most of your errands.
A one-bedroom makes more sense for longer stays, for couples who both work from home some days, or for a parent with a child. Over several months, having somewhere to sleep that isn't also where you eat and work stops feeling like a nice extra and starts feeling necessary.
Where the Palm falls short
If you need a larger apartment for a family with several children, this probably isn't the right area for us to house you; our mix here doesn't run to big units. If you'd rather not depend on cars and taxis, or you have a daily commute at rush hour, an address closer to your work will be less draining.
And if what you want is a neighbourhood to explore on foot, we'd suggest seeing the area for yourself before committing to months here. A tower above a mall, or a building with a residents' beach, is either the appeal of the Palm or its problem, depending on how you like to spend your days.
Questions people ask
Can I use the beach if I stay in The Palm Tower?
The private beach access we can speak for belongs to the Shoreline Apartments and is for their residents. If daily beach time is high on your list, mention it in your enquiry and we'll start with Shoreline.
Do I need a car living here?
Not strictly, but most people here use one or rely on taxis. The monorail helps for trips along the trunk. For trips off the island, we'd plan on a car or taxi, as most people here do.
How bad is the traffic, really?
Peak times are the ones to watch. At peak times traffic on and off the island builds, so the time you leave matters more than the distance. If you can shift your hours, do.
Which building is better for a stay of several months?
It depends on your routine. The Palm Tower wins on convenience, with Nakheel Mall right below. Shoreline wins if residents' beach access matters more to you than having a mall at the base of your building.
