Furnished apartments in Claren Towers, Downtown Dubai
Claren is a pair of residential towers built by Emaar, and the reason most people ask about it is simple. The mall and the Burj Khalifa are close enough to reach on foot. On a stay measured in weeks rather than days, small daily conveniences like that count. A trip to the mall doesn't need a car or a taxi.
The trade-off is the neighbourhood itself. Downtown pulls in more visitors than anywhere else in Dubai, and you will be sharing the pavements with them. Claren itself, though, is two residential towers, built as homes.

Living in the building
The facilities are practical rather than showy. There is a swimming pool, fitness centres and play areas for children, which makes a real difference if you are here with a family and the summer heat keeps everyone indoors for much of the day.
For anyone working while they stay, Claren has a meeting room and a business centre. That is useful if you are a consultant who needs somewhere other than the dining table for a call. Parking is on site, and allocated parking is included, so if you are renting a car for your stay you will have a space.
Our apartments here, and who they suit
Our selection at Claren is small and covers studio and one-bedroom layouts. The studios work well for one person or a couple on a project. The one-bedrooms give a bit more room to separate sleeping from living, which helps on longer stays. Availability moves around a lot, and the apartments shown here reflect what we can offer right now.
Claren suits people who want Downtown on their doorstep but a proper home base to come back to. The wider district has Dubai Opera and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, and the Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall Metro station on the Red Line serves the area. If you want something calmer, the low-rise Old Town part of Downtown is quieter than the towers around the Boulevard. The flip side of living a short walk from the mall and fountain is the tourist traffic: expect to weave through crowds when you head that way. Roads nearby also close for the year-end celebrations, as they do whenever a big event comes to the district.
Questions people ask
Can I park a car at Claren Towers during a monthly stay?
Yes. The building has parking, and allocated parking is included. Mention it when you enquire so we can confirm the arrangement for the apartment you are interested in.
Is Claren a good choice for a family with young children?
It is one of the more practical Downtown options for families. There is a pool and there are play areas inside the building, so children have somewhere to go without crossing busy streets. A one-bedroom gives more breathing space than a studio for a longer stay.
What is it like living here over New Year's Eve?
Busy. Downtown draws huge crowds for New Year's Eve and major events, and roads close. Plan to stay put or travel early, and don't count on getting a taxi to the door that night. Outside those nights, Downtown's crowds gather around the mall and fountain, so allow extra time when you head that way.
