Furnished apartments in Sadaf, JBR, right on the beach

Sadaf stands on the sand. It is one of the six tower clusters that make up Jumeirah Beach Residence, so the sea is part of daily life here, not a weekend outing.

That beachfront position is the main reason to choose it. The towers are older than most of Dubai Marina behind them, and the finish varies from flat to flat, so judge the apartment itself rather than the address. We manage the units we show here and will tell you plainly what each one is like.

Nightly prices are before taxes: 5% VAT and, in Dubai, the Tourism Dirham fee are added and listed line by line before you send a request. A refundable security deposit may apply.

Living in the building

Day to day, you can get a lot done without leaving the building. The pools are temperature-controlled, which means more of the year is swimmable. There is a fitness centre, plus a steam room and sauna for the evenings.

Families get children's play areas and playgrounds, and there are landscaped plazas when you want some air without going down to the public beach. There is also a retail outlet, an ATM and an events space. Security runs around the clock, the lifts are high-speed and the building has allocated parking.

What we have here

At the moment our Sadaf homes are one- and two-bedrooms, and the ones we have sit on higher floors. Some have sea views. Which flats are free shifts as tenants move in and out, so the homes shown on this page are simply what is open right now; if you need something particular, such as a sea view or a second bedroom, mention it when you enquire and we can check which Sadaf flats are likely to free up around your stay.

Who it suits, and what's outside

Sadaf works best for people who want the beach every day: families on a relocation, couples, and anyone on a project who would rather swim than sit in a lobby after work. If you're sharing, a two-bedroom here is worth asking about.

Downstairs, The Walk runs along the towers with shops and restaurants, and The Beach mall sits between the buildings and the sand. Walk down to the water's edge and the big observation wheel out on Bluewaters, Ain Dubai, is right there across the sea. The tram stops at JBR, and the Marina is directly behind you. The catch is crowds. Weekends and holidays bring heavy visitor traffic, so if you want quiet Saturdays, look elsewhere.

Questions people ask

Is there parking if I bring a car?

The building lists allocated parking among its facilities, which counts for a lot in a district this busy at weekends. A space doesn't automatically come with every flat, so tell us you'll be driving in your first message and we'll check it for the specific apartment you're looking at.

How busy does it get around the building?

Very busy at weekends and on holidays, when visitors fill The Walk and the beach. If crowds bother you, plan your own beach time and errands around those days. The building's own pools, gym and plazas give you somewhere to retreat when the public areas are full.

Are all the Sadaf apartments finished to the same standard?

No. Sadaf went up before most of the Marina towers behind it, and the fit-out differs noticeably from one flat to the next. We can describe the condition of each apartment we manage here honestly, so you know what you're getting before you arrive.
